In defiance of her training and ethics, she finds herself having a huge impact on people’s lives, including her own. Share the biggest character-defining moments from Season 1, and reveal who made the biggest impression on Harrison Ford.
Goldstein eventually talked to Ford and sold him on the role
When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford-type” model and was going to help cast people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch him to Ford, thinking he’d turn him down immediately, but that at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been pitched, sparking interest from other notable actors.
Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was still thrilled
Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best Watch Series of 2023 TV Shows (So Far) (2023) I watched the first two episodes and found them fascinating. One reason is that I found there was something real about a therapist who needs therapy and wants to connect with his patients to solve their problems in unexpected ways.
will continue to watch it
I also respect how it’s presented – he doesn’t do what other therapists are supposed to do, and that’s abundantly clear. He hasn’t gotten himself into stupid situations on other shows like Loot, but the series is still in its infancy and I.
The show isn’t for everyone
Regardless, I like the depth of the characters that don’t come across as caricatures; they’re people I’d like to get to know.
